A holiday rental in a wine region

The B&Bs and other types of accommodation available on Clevacances can be found in the various wine-growing regions of France. We're thinking, for example, of these beautiful rentals located in the Val de Loire, where the very famous Saumur is produced, as well as those in Provence, which are a delight for lovers of wines from the Midi, including the Bandol vintages and the Château Saint-Maur rosé. Fans of Bordeaux grape varieties will also find something to their liking. In fact, they are particularly likely to put down their suitcases in a bed and breakfast or holiday home in Tresse, Sainte-Eulalie or Puisseguin. There's no doubt that they'll appreciate the famous Saint Emilion wine, among other things! Other pied-à-terre establishments will be of particular interest to wine-lovers, including those located close to major estates such as Château du Clos de Vougeot, Château Corton André and Château de Santenay.

Discovering oenology to learn about the pleasure of wines

Each accommodation in which you could experience your oenological break is necessarily located in one of France's wine-growing regions. The owner welcomes you with a bottle of wine as well as a tasting box. He or she will provide you with wine-related books and guides to nearby wineries and wine cellars. What's more, to fully immerse you in the world of oenology, we can arrange for you to visit a winery. By choosing some of the accommodation available, whether in Bordeaux, Provence, Burgundy or elsewhere in the country, you also have the opportunity to attend oenology courses as well as taking part in the inherent vineyard tasks of harvesting and bottling.

Activities alongside the wine world

During your stay, you'll of course have the opportunity to indulge in a whole host of activities away from the world of wine, in any wine region. Just a stone's throw from Bordeaux and its many B&Bs, the Atlantic Ocean, for example, is a playground where you can try your hand at surfing and other water sports. If you choose an estate in the Loire Valley, there are a number of remarkable institutions that attract visitors to the area every year, such as the Château Musée de Gien and the Musée de Vierzon. Families can also enjoy spending half a day in an animal park. Zoo la Barben and Parc de l'Auxois, in Provence and Burgundy respectively, are both located in wine-growing regions. Are you looking forward to a weekend out with your partner, family or friends? All you have to do is book a bed and breakfast or another type of rental on Clevacances for a weekend or a longer stay that's as enjoyable as it is rewarding.
